Don't forget to check out Brizmus' French Friday !
Bonjour everyone !
So, things have been quite hectic in my life recently, and it's only the beginning... Between my theatre company, the pile of books waiting for me for review and the fact that we're leaving Paris in may and looking for a house, I'm kind of the Queen of disorganization and panic nowadays. But hey, c'est la vie !
So, this week I wanted to show you something special : to celebrate the release of Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland, the Printemps has put together Alice themed shop-windows. I saw them today, but unfortunately didn't have my camera with me. So here are a few pictures, that I found on Le Journal des Vitrines. Enjoy !
What you see here is a mountain of real macaroons ! And there was a real mouse there, eating these expensive treats. I desperatly wanted to be this mouse !
That dress is gorgeous ! I spent five minutes looking at it !
There was even an "Ephemeral Salon de Thé" by Ladurée. Really cool.
Here's a video of the event.
Happy Friday !

Ohhh I love these! Wherever do you find such *awesome* stuff?!?
ReplyDeleteHey! This post is so interesting! I haven't been to France in a long while, so this is really interesting to see what's going on!
ReplyDeleteWow, these settings are gorgeous!! I love everything about them, fantastic how creative they were!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the photos, it sure was a treat Charlotte (and I agree, I'd gladly be a mouse to gorge on mountains of macarons :-) lol)
Love the pictures, they are beautiful. I hope everything goes well with searching for a lovely house! :)
ReplyDeleteI saw these the other day, and I keep meaning to go back and take pictures but not finding this time! It really is amazing! I didn't notice the real mouse in there, though, eating the macaroons. Poor thing. . .even though you wanted to be him.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear things are so hectic in your life. I know the feeling. I hope you keep blogging, though!!!!
What marvelousness! I LOVE these!
ReplyDeleteOh, those are about the coolest things ever. I want them in my house. Who needs room for furniture when you've got a giant tea pot?
ReplyDeleteI love that you are paying homage to Alice in Wonderland (I found a 50's jello commercial of Disney's Alice in Wonderland to celebrate it on my Feature Fun Friday). I think I like the first one best.
